Organic Vintage Modern Gift Wrapping Inspiration Photoshoot

Concept Design and Styling by: Sweet Caroline, The Sweet Love Chain Events and Design

Last minute gift wrapping can be a daunting task. To create a cohesive look for your gift wrapping, why not put together a look that can be right from your tree or craft box?

Inspired by rustic pine trees, candy canes and vintage modern inspiration, I grabbed my favorite gift wrap and pulled out my favorite things from my craft box. I love twine and burlap and I also enjoy finding pretty ribbon for gift giving. I also was inspired by my tree and added elements to my gift wrap look to bring a personalized touch to all my gifts. I even custom made bows for my gifts which gives each box a fun, detailed customized touch. Top off your lovely gifts with handcrafted tags from the heart.

The outcome was a fun, organic vintage modern organic gift wrap design that was too pretty to open.

Most importantly, lets unwrap the best gift given this Christmas, the birth of light and hope. It is truly the best gift you want to cherish, wrapped up in the best gift wrap ever...Love.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, my loves.

Xoxo,
Sweet Caroline

Two words: Music and Vintage! (We love both) ...

Inspired by vintage and the awesome fashion, art and sounds of oldies and goodies of music, Sandra Pimentel from Downtown Darling Boutique, Abigail Lodevico of Abs of Cakes and I wanted to create a fun, music and vintage inspired shoot that would allow us to creatively collaborate and think of fun, musical vintage details for a music inspired, vintage bridal shower.

In collaboration with awesome artists (the models are also musicians!! see links above) and businesses in the Downtown Arts District of Long Beach (its a blooming art community!), we created a colorful musical inspired tea party for a lovely bride to be. Sandra did an amazing job styling outfits and accessories for the beautiful bridal party. Makeup was vintage inspired and done with love by Kelsie Gygi. The tea party treats and cake design were created by Abigail and were deliciously styled with vintage decor. Gorgeous floral with vintage broaches (from Downtown Darling) were created by Shelley Anders of Primal Flower and made pretty centerpieces to the music inspired tea party. I created a tea party table with lovely details of paper crafted table settings, vintage napkins with broaches and gorgeous  vintage decor with records as place settings. I loved adding old musical sheets and records to tie in our theme! (Loved making those fun music sheet paper flowers!) Ellie from Eloisa Nadine Hernandez Photography captured the sweet love vintage music details with her awesome photography skills!

With vintage decor and rentals from Downtown Darling and The Sweet Love Chain Vintage Rentals and recycled music decor from The Long Beach Depot for Creative Reuse (recycling is awesome), the vintage music inspired tea party came together in perfect harmony the rockstar bride to be!

When my talented cake designer kappa sis and friend, Abigail Lodevico of Abs of Cakes was invited to create an 2nd anniversary cake for Twig and Willow Boutique in Long Beach, she graciously asked me to join her in creating a fun dessert table for the occasion. Twig & Willow is an awesome gorgeous boutique in the city of Long Beach, filled with amazing clothing, accessories and lovely products for the stylish fashionista.

Twig and Willow celebrated their 2 years as a boutique and their web launch of their new online store with a launch/anniversary party and invited the whole community to celebrate their success!

What better way to celebrate the occasion by having a lovely dessert table? My awesome photographer friend, Ellie of Eloisa Nadine Hernandez Photography took awesome shots of the tablescape and the festivities of the day, which included boutique promotions, live music, 3 food trucks, a photobooth, makeovers, live silkscreen printing by The Graham Street Press and lovely dessert samples from C Salt Gourmet Desserts

Inspired by Twig and Willow's company name and their vintage and modern products and clothing, Abs and I planned to celebrate the company's success with a Twig and Willow inspired dessert table. Abs created delicious s'mores and raspberry topped mini cupcakes and a gorgeous rustic Twig and Willow Anniversary cake. I was inspired by organic, vintage decor in the boutique and wanted to keep the tablescape true to the boutique's style. Inspired by the company name, "Twig and Willow" the table was adorned with organic elements of twigs, branches, leaves, succulents, wood, burlap and touches of feathers and vintage finds. Together, the elements from the table and dessert design made a gorgeous "Twig & Willow" tribute to the company's 2 year success. Happy 2 year anniversary, Twig and Willow!
